"Locals Only!" is a board game about surf localism. Purposefully unbalanced, the game simulates conflict between the veterans (aka "locals") and beginners (aka "kooks") of surfing. Players carefully (or recklessly) navigate a crowded lineup in order to catch as many waves as possible. Shakas are awared for epic barrels, daring manuvers, and long rides. The surfer with the highest combined shaka score wins.

"Locals Only!" was featured in the 2015 UCLA Game Art Festival at the Hammer Museum.
