LA Hacks 2016

Spring 2016
Identity, Interactivity, Code

LA Hacks is the largest annual student-organized hackathon on the west coast. Over 1,000 students from around the country converge on UCLA's iconic Pauley Pavilion to learn, make, and play for 36 hours straight.

I worked with a team of designers and developers to develop a playful and inclusive identity system for this year's event. After researching other hackathons and defining our target audience, we began experimenting with different design directions. I also prototyped this year's "splash" page and helped communicate our core values through web, print, and internal communication channels.
